Yes they are! Those beaches are for real???
Well put those on my bucket listYes they are!
I would be in heaven. I always look through landscape rock (washed river rock) when I find it outside a restaraunt or commercial building.I’ve been to that beach, it’s pretty cool to see.

There is another one in Hawaii on Kauai that I have been to also. It’s doesnt have the same kind of colors, but pretty cool just the same since it has natural black volcanic glass mixed in too.

It kinda makes me laugh since these are just discarded brown beer bottles that got pounded in the surf for a few decades making them pretty. It makes me wonder what archeologists a thousand years from now will misinterpret them to be. I bet more than a few will spend years trying to figure out how brown glass was formed in the volcanoes of Hawaii instead of the usual black glass. The brown stuff almost looks like Amber. I remember reading a article about those beeches somewhere on the web. The glass was exactly that. Glass bottles that have been polished by the water and sand. That would be so cool to see. Where is the first pick with the green and white rock at?
Fort Bragg CAThat would be so cool to see. Where is the first pick with the green and white rock at?
Only sorta. It from a giant garbage dump that over the decades the discarded glass bottles broke up and were pounded by the surf and polished. Eventually they collected there.Ohhh so thats sea glass?
Still pretty damn cool!!Only sorta. It from a giant garbage dump that over the decades the discarded glass bottles broke up and were pounded by the surf and polished. Eventually they collected there.
Me too, just sad that its taken so damn long. Oh and Im on person number 6 and 7 now with the company. I dont know if I mentioned this before, but 4 of the jackasses that worked on my house have been fired or quit from that company.Cool! Glad it is working out.
that's what I have under my deck. A friend that used to have his own excavating business augered out the holes for me. and we got talking about landscape rock. Ended up giving me this stuff. He kept it from a school they demo'd.I would be in heaven. I always look through landscape rock (washed river rock) when I find it outside a restaraunt or commercial building.
Either way I looks like I am on my own to actually get my car back, which progressive hauled up near Harrisburg.
Still thinking I will keep the Magnum, but seriously debating if it will be worth the hassle. So far, just talked to claims office. Gonna go over with my agent tomorrow and see if any way to bump the numbers in my favor.Getting closer to wrap up on the Magnum. State farm came back with more money for the payoff, but wants more for the buy back. And if they don't get my deductible back( which is apparently not garenteed) I actually end up with less cash.Either way I looks like I am on my own to actually get my car back, which progressive hauled up near Harrisburg.

What a goat and pony show! The city council meeting has turned into a Robert Rules of Order fiasco. LOL
"I bet I know where this is going to go next week" Sarcasm from the mayorWhat a goat and pony show!

Good luck! Fingers crossed!Getting closer to wrap up on the Magnum. State farm came back with more money for the payoff, but wants more for the buy back. That was my impression of Fla when spending summers there. More recently though I've seen and heardsome great work being done by archaeologists. The imprint of early Europeans is there, its just not very strong or widespread. So cool to me since I am from FL where the only old things to see were Indian mounds. Cool that you live in such an old state as PA.
Hah! We just went thru that here, over of all things kids snowmobiling across drive ways. I kid you not, it deteriorated to lawyers and quoting State laws, covenants you name it. Keep in mind this is teenagers and young adults rocking their sleds and cutting over some driveways to get to the fields. We chose silence as we had no dog in the fight but did state we have a sled friendly property. Our property borders the edge of no mans land! Some of these guys got some killer sleds. I for one was thrilled they were enjoying being out doors and not playing Nintendo (dating myself there!) anyway city council meetings can be a hoot! What a goat and pony show!
