Here it depends. The last couple times it was due to temps and wind chill. Usually we have one of the last to cancel. Used to piss me off as how do you plan for child care when they close at 5-6 am when you are up for work already...

I agree think they could make a decision by 10pm the night before. Nowadays I don't know how working parents do it anyway with all the teacher work days and early releases they do around here. My daughter is lucky she has ME!!

Agreed..Years ago it wasnt as big of a deal. Most moms I knew were home. And the farm kids, just got to start chores early or spend the day working..
