So question for you guys living in the polar vortex zone, are you seeing a big issue with electric cars having problems with batteries not holding or charging correctly? Seems to me there would be a huge problem..
And how does the HVAC systems work. Heaters and defrosters need to work and a/c compressors take quite a bit of power to run with a DC motor.

havent heard. There's very very very few electric cars around here. shoot, i rarely see a prius or other hybrid and I drive 1500 miles a week on highways. The only Telsa dealer close that I know of is in Chicago
that is f-ed up.

Just throw your lithium battery outside on a day like today, it will be 50%. Let it freeze- garbage.
Lead acid will somewhat recover.

When i had barracuda on rotisserie, i noticed my torsion bars were clean and painted grey. Like powdercoating. Will have to get a closer look and see if they are original. Im thinking they are new.

I've never researched it. What is the recharge cycle after using up your, fer instance, 300 mile range?
so decisions, decisions. I can get a 40 ft connex, delivered to my property for about 2000. For about 2700, I can build a 24x27 pole barn style, shop. Wife wants to wait on building the shop until the house has been started/built to make sure the location we selected is fully suitable. Problem is, the drama at the family farm is so thick, I'm pretty much walking away and need to do it this spring, not much later than that. a portable shipping container allows it to be moved if needed.
Off to the shop now. Hey its Thong Thursday!
last I saw, the battery life was projected at 3-5 years. but thats probably changed
24x27- you will need additional storage. So it seems practical.
