Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning, guys. A little blustery here, good day to be at home. Boss must have wanted to see how much I could handle last night, it's like riding a bicycle but a little sore today. But who isn't?

Impulse buy, I needed a new one, very nice guy, he had a some impressive special designs that caught my eye and brought me in. Very classy his whole presentation I thought, nice to see when people make an extra effort like that.

I was going to ask what kind of wood, but I see the tag... Normally I would consider black walnut a little soft for a cutting board. But a wild grain piece like that can actually be quite tough

Sounds like my day at work. I only did 6 hours yesterday. BUT,half of it was outside - up on a catwalk blowing out filter screens. :BangHead: I am really glad I did not try to do my brakes before I went in. That would have been way too much time out in the cold. Shouldn't be too bad today. Suns out. Should have us above freezing in a few hours.

Well boys hear you talking about snow....going to be upper 40's- 50's here through next Friday. Hopefully this all pushes to you.

I have to ask what is board butter? Never heard of it before.

Bee's wax and mineral oil. He included a nice page of care instructions. I thought about the walnut being kind of soft too, but I just like how it looks, and any cutting board is going to show wear.

Time to rustle up some breakfast, everything bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, onion, dill, and I like to add pickles too. I am not Jewish but once in a great while I like it. Catch up with y'all shortly.
