That's pertty impressive. Reminds me of the student mechnical engineering competition - the tires I put on the miniature vehicle were a total fail on the sand. Afterwords 
one of my classmates who knew about such things said he would have helped. Uh, Thanks. Communication failure I guess.
Well we a good time anyway. The event was held at West Point. There's one story I can post. We all got in the van and we saw our adviser (a teacher) was wearing a jacket and tie. Someone commented, and he said something to the effect of "everyone there will be". Oops! We were off to a good start.

Big news guys....We are selling both the Condo and our house in Vista. Buying a 7 bedroom house in Escondido on 3/4 acre. Not built yet, Brand new. Bedrooms for all. But crap, the cost.......

You'll be closer to that "Cackle" event they have. Barona Speedway just south of town. Same distance to the Casinos. Win Win. The beach is over rated 
3 car garage and on site RV parking. Up on a hill overlooking a valley. And a real nice separate master retreat!!! PLUS 7 Bedrooms!!!!
Dang kids are expensive. I made my decision on the kids a while ago, in for a penny in for a pound...
