Then what cost me more time is I assumed there was a slant six k frame in the trunk
It turns out there was a v8 biscuit mount k frame In there. So I had to go out to the yard and look for a slant k frame.
Found one in the weeds
So I dragged it in and had to remove the strut rods which was another wrestling match and that is as far as I got...... then it was dinner time

Just doing what I do
So you put in a V8 and then pulled it back out. Yeah, I saw that before.
My question remains...was the engine that was in there running (or in running condition) or not?

The v8 that came out is a runner but Its going to the demon and the demon slant six is coming to the scamp.
Are you going to clean up the slant 6 k member and paint it before reinstallation?

That is true for 63-66 A bodies when the centerlink was either v8 or slant
After 67 the centerlink was all the same but the k frames were different and either slant, v8, or big block

Not really because when it's time for paint, the engine has to come back out because the firewall is going to be converted from a/c to non a/c.
So when the engine compartment gets painted the k can come out for paint with all the suspension pieces

I wasnt sure because I didnt know they used the "b body" designation in that time frame.
I always thought of 66/7 as early B's, but learn something new everyday

87 or 93?
Anyone know if a 235 60 15 is going to look like a pizza cutter on the rear of a 67 B body? Trying to keep the tire diameter to 25.5" - 26". 2.94:1 gearing I think 27" - 28" would kill too much.

Mine is a 67 and I never put in the same group as the 68-70
