Stop in for a cup of coffee

No trying to make fun of you in any way, but my dad told about a guy in the old days, when surgery was not so common. The guy went to hospital and had surgery, and when he came back everyone was very curious about how it went and well, you know, I mean people had hardly been to a doctor even. And the man told, I assume he was asleep during the surgery so he just made it up, but told people that they cut off pieces of him, and put away, cut off pieces and put away. So, it sounded like it was not much left when they were done.
And my mom's dad, my grandfather, at one point he had to get one of his knees fixed, a meniscus problem. And he was so nervous. He talked to a fellow who had at some point had surgery, and the guy lied to my grandfather telling him that when he was in surgery they used butcher knives, and what not. And my mom told me that my grandfather was 100% convinced that he would never be able to walk again and just sit in a chair in the living room for the rest of his life. He was a farmer and fisherman, and after the surgery he was both on the ocean fishing, and doing his regular farm work, and was doing forest work too.

Good they don't use butcher knives anymore and not just cut off pieces and put away either. :D

Hope your feet get better soon.

Optimum efficiency!
I’m getting there...more to do yet. I’m trying to get the garage to the point where I can keep it decently heated through all our Winter temps using only 900w.

Next year I will optimize the summer cooling. The garage door faces SW and the heat used to build up like mad inside with inside temps getting into the high 90s. Last year I got it so that it never went above 87* on even the hottest of days. This year I want to cap that at 80*

I’d like to have a comfortable man cave...year ‘round.

When I got home I text my bosses telling them that it went well but a lot worse than they thought. They changed my recovery to 9 weeks which is 2 days shy of my winter vacation I have planned so I said if they dont mind I would just take the two extra days and see them in March. They were not laughing... I was! Mostly because Im on pain killers and just coming off anesthetic.

I finally told them I was messing with them...

Do you have windows in your garage? I found that they help heat my 2 stall side better than the insulated work shop side.. Gotta love thermal radiation.

Found this guys stuff while looking for info on the starters. Did you know there was more than one type of big starter? He also has a lot more Mopar vids that look interesting.

Yes the 3250 was the standard, and the 3258 was the high torque. Sold zillions of em over the years....

I searched for 1992 since Mitch said he have one, wanted to see. But if it is a 92 or 93 I have no idea. I am not that familiar with newer vehicles from Walter P.

(Not with older vehicles from Walter P either. I know the year of my own Dart though)

My little garage stays warm even on the coldest days of sub minus 30’s. Adding the patio door in front of overhead door made a huge difference.

Its less than 6 feet with both doors open so no cars fit. But my kubota fits quite nicely.

I do, but they are on the NW side of the house and don’t provide any solar heating in Winter. I recently sealed them using removable 2” R10 panels to keep the cold out.

So far, so good. The tweaks seem to be working. It is now 34* outside with light rain and sleet with a NW wind at 10 mph blowing on the garage door...and it’s still steady at 64.5* inside.

So the stinky Chinese shoe saga is over.

I didn't mean to ignore @Ddaddy when he said he'd buy them. I was on a mission to make the company make it right.

So when I was on the phone with the company, the operator mentioned an outlet store in Denver that would have that same style of shoe.

They gave me a refund and sent me a label to send them to some place in CA.

So my friend went to Denver to the place mentioned and bought them there.

They run small so if your wife orders any from wish or an outlet, order one size up. I ended with size size 7 and they fit perfect my normal is 6

This style is deceiving because they are thick and give a daisy duck, over sized look.

Boy people are stupid on Facebook car sites. Just sayin'
That is why I am not on bookface and haven't been on there in over a year.

There is a lot of good content on there but its just too time consuming, I don't have time for that. I only have time for fabo and sometimes not even that.

Oh we have dinner again. I am so stuffed it's like I have to roll away from the table... And still we do not get enough weightwatcher points. We struggle getting enough. My wife calculated hers, and I think she ended up with 13 points for the dinner, and she could eat over 20.

We eat and eat and go down in weight because we eat the right things. And today I boiled two potatoes, half a rutabaga, half an onion, 4 slices of Safeway thick sliced bacon which I had in the trying pan first and probably a pound of poached cod we had the other day. We both feel full, and it comes out to so little pojnts. The onions and rutabaga is nothing, the cod is almost nothing, the potatoes were 4 points I think, and the bacon one points a slice. And now she tells me her skin feels better too. And you know how important that is for.the girls. So, I continue with my 3/4 Norwegian cooking and we loose weight every day. What a concept!

Also need to figure out the radiator.....

This was an original V8 car with A/c so I think the radiator support was cut out for a 26 inch radiator.

Did they make 26 inch radiators for slant sixes ??

Dont think so, but I'm pretty sure you can adapt one, measure to hose outlets on the engine..
