Good morning.

So many things to do I don't know where to start. I am boiling chicken thighs for chicken chili. I have a lot of wrapping to do. I need to grocery shop for Sunday. Having a dozen over for Christmas supper. I better get busy! LOL

No catastrophic weather warnings on the national map this morning. That's a good thing. My wingman is flying to Ft Campbell Ky to spend Christmas with his Army brat and the gran brats.

One of my sons on his way out for Christmas from Prescott AZ texted us yesterday, he's in Mountain Home Idaho. I looked that up, he covered over 800 miles yesterday, ah youth! He'll be in today, over 1400 miles total. We offered to fly him but he likes to have his Jeep to drive around and visit his high school buddies.

Sunday I head out to Phx for the brats 'n grans. Christmas Eve it's Phx to San Diego to Mother's place. Luckily the elder granbrat has given me permission to watch MNF there as long as she gets to wear my Vikings hat

SOO, a rant....

I have a 2015 VW Golf sport Wagon, SEL, TDI. Wife lost her key, SOOO I needed to get another made. Well, order the key using the VIN to have it laser cut from the factory, 180.00 for that. THEN the fun begins. Have to get it programed at VW. Well, First they brick my car, Dead....Well, two days later, it is running again, pick it up, no Nav, Buletooth, or voice operations......Take it back. Another day, OK it is ready. Pick it up this morning, start it up, Check engine light is flashing!!!!!!!!! So three days to program a freakin key!!!!!!!!!!! Still in the loaner car......I do love the car tho.....Fun to drive and great mileage...

All them electronified gizmos are intended to make life easier.
Speaking of computers, uncle tony’s garage did a video about mopar fuel injection in the 50’s. Interesting.

Made a coffee, Fargo is in shop warming up, machinist had a king pin reamer.Life is good!

Got one king pin almost fitted!
Its a slow process, dont want to overshoot the goal. Then i can assemble with all my new bits and pieces.

And a nice ride it was too :D Stopped at HF with a fist full of coupons and got stocking stuffers for the brats . 70* out there :D. Almost too hot for the Ugly Christmas Sweater, but i persevered . The local hot rodders were out playing too, saw numerous classics out there enjoyin' the sunshine.
