Not in my driveway they weren’t. The ‘66 from Tim was slightly smaller and lighter than my ‘69. The difference in size was definitely obvious.

IMO 2 inches makes a large difference.....In the engine bay......:rofl:

Short loads cost more $$$ per yard than full loads. It costs the same for the ready mix company to ship 3 cu yds as it does to haul 10 cu yds, hence the $$$/yd difference. Another thing to consider is the unloading time on the job. We allowed 5 minutes/yd to unload, after that it added 1$/minute to the bill (stand by time). There were freight zones, distance between job and plant, that influence $$$ also.

My dad was a ready mix plant operator also and had more building skills than I ever thought of having. He could do just about anything, he did call the pros for electrical. Wasn't unusual for him to tell me when we had concrete to do in the back yard, "Go find a good sand wash, take my pickup, no rock over 1", and fill the truck up to this level." He would fill a barrel or 2 out of the plant with cement and I would mix concrete and push wheel barrow after wheel barrow. :rofl:

Well, that sucks that the deer ate it... If you are planning to brew with them eventually, I'd probably do something other than the Magnum. It is considered a bittering hop. I don't think much of that is normally used. TMM could probably give a better recommendation since I don't brew. (I just drink - lol)
 
I like to grow fruit trees, trees etc. Would be a plus to have something that I can sell off them though.
