Stop in for a cup of coffee

Did go for a little putt with the Fargo, easier to downshift without the clutch. No syncros.

Since you all are talking about old machines, anyone still have a typewriter, mechanical or electrical?

I made door panels on dart using an old machine...
I more thinking of the sentimental side. Before her dementia got real bad, she loved sewing and made clothes, blankets and even shoes for kids and adults around the world. Her and her church group. Some of it by hand, others not. Sadly, she’d lost motor function before I had the dart and couldn’t sew anymore. It would have been nice to have her hand in this project somewhere. So I guess the next best thing would be using her old machine that she learned to sew on way way back when she was little. Two weeks from Wednesday marks one year since her passing.

My mom sewed all kinds of things. I just figured every girl got taught sewing. Not. My wife is clueless
I was one of just two guys in my Army BCT company that could sew a button back on. I made bank back in those days. I think I cleared like 3-4 hundred bucks sewing ripped uniforms during those 9 weeks

I never learned to use a sewing machine... I can run a needle and thread through something and tie some knots to make a repair, but won't be much for looks. My wife ain't no seamstress, but can fix/make some stuff on a machine.
