First day of demo yesterday. We’re removing all the tile, hardwood floor, and carpet on the main floor. Also loaded 700 bricks for the neighbor to haul off. Here is a pic looking from the foyer into the living room.

There was a huge chess tournament in town... As the participants checked into the hotel, they gathered in the entrance bragging to each other on their various wins and how good they were...

Finally, the hotel manager asked them to go find somewhere else to congregate... One of the patrons asked why...

The manager said, "I can't stand to hear chess nuts boasting in an open foyer"....
