Stop in for a cup of coffee

Buddy's 440 dyno'd at 500/500 and it's fairly mild. Mildly ported iron heads.

Nice. Desktop dyno puts me in the 550-600 hp range with my heads. So we shall see. My goal was only 500, so if it’s more than that I’m thrilled

Crazy thing. On trip home, on one of my walk around's, getting fuel, I noticed a BIG *** dent on the trailer's right side fender. Not in place that I could have hit anything, or where any one could have backed in to it. I had to happen at the show. Strange I did not notice it. Fender is think *** metal...

I figure eventually I’ll upgrade to a roller cam and lifters but not in the short term. But still, 500 hp in a 3100 lb car should be a fun ride

I am looking forward to Getting my 408 installed, running in my 66. That should be a torque monster....
I picked up the Transmission for it at Hoppys. Have most everything now to finish. Just have to do it! Still waiting on rear window trim clips from year one!!! Cannot put rear glass in without those first. ALWAYS something!! Then getting on the Satellite. LOTS to do there....

Yep Listen to how mild this one is.

There is just something quite peaceful about lining up by yourself. Seems like the whole world just kind of moves along at your pace. And you know you have the win, and no need to worry about somebody crossing into your lane, plus you can dial in and experiment with your own junk during the “free” pass.
