Stop in for a cup of coffee

How many ton?
3 would be plenty.
Can move these porches with a machinists screw. Just want it big enough to be stable. Might build cribbing but dont really to at this stage.

Nothing you can do with those when power goes out. I use a od school hour timer that you wind up on the parts washer, saves the heating elements if I forget to turn it off.

Yep!
Pretty creative for a lawyer who claims to have no mechanical skills at all. LOL
I know he full of **** when he says that.
He worked summers in food prep opening clams to get through school. Has scar to show from it too

Good Morning Everyone. I hope all is well out here in coffee land. Will back read from 15845 when I get a chance...

Tractor supply had them a few years ago.
Dont think there 's any in town but that's good idea if Grainger or Diamond doesnt have.
I need to see if I have any notes or photos of the porch structure from when we restored in '98.
Framing is a littlle different on that one. At one time it extended out further and had a curved railing.

Cool looks like the new electrical oil pressure gauge will be here for the truck today. Ran good the other day but should tell me if I have any engine damage. I do have to say the truck got 80MPG to Carlisle and back!

Good morning A body owners...on my 2nd cup of Jo", Going to work on my upper control arms later today.
Removing ball joints, and upper bushings. Yesterday I removed the lower control arm pivots and bushings
using the welded washer method. Initially I welded the washer to the top edge of the bushing shell.

The welds broke the shell lip off, so I welded another set of washers inside the bushing shell, then welded it around the edge of the washer to the shell..

Worked like a champ! both bushing shells came out with ease.

I bought Mancini's suspension tool kit to remove the upper control arm bushings. I'll let you know how their tools work.
Have a great day everyone!

In the new house I have the usual light switch panel that controls the front porch can lights. I've been told I can buy a light switch that has a built in timer so that I can automatically turn a outside light on and off in a set amount of time. No not a dusk to dawn screw in socket. Anyone use one??
Yep. My parents house has them. Those things have been around forever. Works like you’d expect. Has a dial showing 24 hours, move the inside dial selector to what time you want them to come on, outside dial Selector to what time you want it then off.

Those kits are the best. I need to buy one I borrow my friends when needed.

Unless you have a very heavy vice and bench and/or big impact gun....Leave them on the car and use a 3ft cheater bar to get enough leverage to turn the upper ball joints out.
