I just got in from a downpour. Was bout 2 mins too late. Scraped down the K frame and the strg box again, and brought out the powerwasher, one more time. I HATE to work on greasy ****..Now its pretty clean......But got wet for a few minutes.....

The only reason I even know about Cafe du Monde, a USAF buddy of mine went on leave from his ROTC post at U of Georgia to N.O. and he sent me a can of Cafe du Monde for Christmas. Been hooked on it ever since . I limit myself to about 4 shots from the espresso machine per week to avoid a trip to Betty Ford Coffee Clinic in beautiful Palm Springs .I was raised in the desert and feel no need to go back for more than a short visit

Awe man, bad news folks. That Granny Smith apple tree you all got me, yeah it’s dead. Looks like a strapping buck decided to rub antlers on it and snapped it clean off. Oh well. I have two new ones on order with a spring delivery date.

So as the emotions and stress fade away and the brain starts functioning again, really what happened today was a big win. We now have the date this ends, we have the court ordered restrictions we’ve wanted all along.we took some hits, but it appears we came out as a win even though the other side is claiming victory. I’m still nervous about how things will go forward but at least we finally have forward movement
