Generally, I think buying used tires is a bad investment. Especially right before Winter when what you really need is some nice new tread. The exception to that is if you can find a set of 'take-offs' where someone bought a new car and wanted something different. I'm on the CX-30 forum and a lot of people seem to dislike the Bridgestone Turanza they come with and change out right away. Others have no issue with them. I thought they did great so far in wet. Geuss I will find out soon for snow. Can't imagine it being an issue for me coming from a FWD Neon running Hankooks. LOLLooking around on faebook for the right size tires, lots of used ones. Told Marilyn prob not a good idea to buy them. She said Yes some things you dont buy used like CONDOMS!Got to love her.

I'm technically off for the 4 day weekend, but gonna go in for a few hours. There's a small crew working today and another maintenance guy there to cover them. I have been trying to get some lights up for weeks, but those machines are always running. Should be clear to get at a couple of them today. Already prewired the fixtures, so shouldn't take too long.

Just back from an assistance trip... a buddy on his way home from work (3rd Shift) ran out of fuel. Got him gassed up and moving again.

Ya, so i drove an hour to tell the guy his Avalanche wasnt worth $7500. Even at $7200 i would have walked away. I did a fine job of wasting his time.
