Stop in for a cup of coffee

Cool little article from back in February. 1 Owner 64 Valiant convertible. Good collection of photos to see the trim, badging and interior for mine. I'm still taunted by the trunk trim logo that's missing from mine.

Yeah just like they pay us and take back 99Percent

Yes, the year I retired they were offering senior guys (E7 and up) in my specialty series 120K for 5 years.. I did the math and decided it wasn't worth it considering I probably wouldn't see almost half of that ( I think it was a big chunk up front and then percentages over the last few years)

I did an oops on timing this morning. Should have put down weed n feed while the grass was still wet, but got out too late. Maybe Wednesday I will get another chance. I did get a few more roots out

I am going to lay down some Weed and Feed this afternoon. And some Grub x on a couple spots.

Building 5 years toward a second retirement seemed a better approach than desert-dwelling.. Just always missed the people and the mission (still)
I was living the hi life in San Diego. Shore duty. All was on tract for 20 years till I met the "wrong" women.

Do you water befor you put on weed n feed?
Not this stuff. It's fert with crabgrass killer. Scott's calls it "Halts". It is a systemic weed killer (enters the roots) so it has to soak in. There is a chance of rain here tomorrow so I should be good. Every lawn care business in the country is putting it down today. LOL

Regular weed and feed kills through the leaves so rain, dew, or water makes it work best.

I was offered choice of duty station and a stripe plus the cash bonus. I loved the crew I was with and location, stripes came and went like the wind, so no real bait. Career planner told me I had no civilian transferable skills, I had two choices, work for the Mob, or a Police Dept. I may not have been the smartest guy in the room but I knew I had more options than that!

PT is running, road tested.
I figure 11 ish hours over 4 days to get it done. Still needs more work, but its driveable-ish. Think i replaced the watts link in the rear suspension 3 times now. Aftermarket junk.

The kind I have for front lawn does both. So needs to stick to leaves.

One nice thing 4860 points almost a year taken off for deployments (will be back pay) at E-7 should be a nice first check!
And it will be even nicer when you get it come Christmas.
Cheryl submitted hers eight months ago.
She checked and all is good just going through the internal steps...it's the government ya know.
