Hey we need a fishing trip this spring with Mrs Mitch and daughter! Same boat. Think the stripped bass come in in April. Different fishing, first go for the live bait (spot/porgies) then live fish fo the bas. Way more fun.

I remembered what my grandmother told me about friends.
Friends are for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
She said you can count your true friends on one hand. How right she was!!
I have many forgotten friends from all walks of life where we came together for many different reasons and causes.
Such is life's journey.

Mae will eat fish sticks from a box, but rarely eats good fish. Mostly just likes shrimp, crab cakes or lobster tail -not the whole thing..

We are the ones who return stuff as good or better than we got it cause we all dealt with people who don't.

Started a long overdue job in the basement yesterday. Painting some walls with waterproofer. I did the main 'family' area when we moved here 30 years ago with sandy finish drylok. Using smooth Behr brand stuff on my 'office' area now. Probably 30 ft of wall. Maybe someday I will do the back part that is storage, utilities and shop. Biggest part of the job is moving all the stuff in the way. But it forces me to go through it and I am getting rid of a bunch and organizing what's left.

I know a guy with a nice big shop if you ever need to paint a car...
