I looked at the weather in the old homeland earlier 150 miles S of Vegas. Spring has arrived there already 70° 25mph sustained with 40mph gusts :lol: We used to just figger the wind was going to be blowin' real estate in any month with an R in it :rofl:

We’re looking at taking a family trip there. It’s actually 1/2 the price of what we spent to Florida last time and that includes air fare this go around.

Just curious about how family friendly the beaches are
 
It's been 15 years or so since I've been there. Never took my kids there only my wife. The beaches look pretty nice. But don't really have a lot of experience with the beaches there. Too many tourists there to suit me though. The weather is basically the same here in Vietnam. And the beaches are more beautiful here in my opinion. Lol @dukeboy_318

Might wanna avoid tropical storm season. Couple friends went on their honeymoon to Cancun. Wound up spending 3 days in the basement/shelter of their lodging. 2 days for one of those famous newsworthy hurricanes to blow through and another day for the emergency crews to extract them from the shelter :realcrazy: Almost forgot the 4 days after while they got the airport back together enough for folks to fly out.
 
Made a little more progress on basement bathroom. I got the phone line re-routed so it's not above that ceiling. Then pieced in the ceiling. Now have first coat of mud on all patchwork. Next up: Earlier this week I went to second hand building supplies place. Got 2 18" cabinet bases and a 60" corian top with backsplash that looked like it was being used together as a desk. Plan is to do surgery and combine into a vanity...
 
It's this dang time change...But hey it hit here 3 hours before it hit you. Good Morning

There is a State Department DO NOT TRAVEL alert for the Bahamas due to their Covid problem. That's why it's so cheap.
