What's the scoop? A later model extension and filter on a early transmission? Does it have to do with the rear pump?

Deep pans are good for testing minimum ground clearance at the worst possible moment.

Maybe on a motorhome or similar.
I have one of those pans too. Tubes run front to back

Then I’d make the builder make it right. That alone killed that trans by starving fluid to it

Looks like it. A LOT of builders think they can just block off the fluid to the rear pump and that it’ll be fine. It doesn’t work out 99.999999 times out of 100. Eventually it eats that rear pump and sends metal through the entire thing, destroying the rest

Dinner. Made up a few sirloin burgers. Lipton onion soup mix and a little sweet baby rays bbq sauce.
Beer batter dipped fries and some horseradish on the side.
And the mandatory ice coffee.

Yes. If the rear pump is not charged the transmission won't upshift. He blocked the intake with the extension plate

it only burns for a short time and no after affects so win win in by way of thinking.

It's out at least.

Got the exhaust system removed and the transmission out.

Going to start labeling wires to get ready to pull the motor.

I love horseradish or anything mustard... i have a great mustard sauce i use when cooking pork or pretty much anything.. mustard/horseradish and worstershire... stuff is sooo good and no sugar
