I would love to run the car but it likely wouldn't pass tech. Not getting built to any real race spec. I want the hat and patch though. Just something fun to play with.

I estimate I would need about 700hp to make a Charger 500 go that fast. And still likely have to add the Daytona nose and wing. In my eyes the car is going to be well built and very stout, but I am not a race car builder in any way.

Got the brakes on to the point of the flex lines to the calipers.. the lines they sent are like 14inches long... Hoping they didn't want me to run front mount calipers...
P.S. actually they are 19" long... which is bout 10" too long

2 of my kids shoot competitively. My daughter has been shooting for 11 years now and my youngest son is in his second year. So they like to go practice regularly

I was competing in a monthly CMP "As issued" service rifle match until this job started. Should be able to get back to it in August. I like being able to compare and have an incentive to practice and up my skill set - which is pretty basic. I hadn't shot regularly in many years. But these old firearms are kindof like these old cars. Often need some TLC and learning the nuances on parts and fit. Wasn't planning to go that deep but kindnof comes with the territory it seems. Got 'em pretty reliable now.

Spent several weeks dusting the entrance in the evenings before really got them reduced, and then finally eliminated.
pretty sure they were Pennsylivania Yellowjackets based on nesting location. I couldn't risk them surviving the winter and reusing that location. Actually weren't very aggressive but if they ever triggered it would have been bad.

Hose works, it's a bit long but doens't hit anything or have issues... so... brakes done.. other than fluid 
Looks like my 14's will still fit for now also.. need to get some 15s..
BTW.. realized while doing this, i don't out of like 30 old mopars i ever had one with disc brakes... i can't believe how heavy they are.. it's pretty crazy

At the time it was an alcohol injected BBC later it got a FREE aluminum BBC cuz his kid worked for the block builder whose name escapes me, . The dragster was originally a sand drag car built in the milking barn of a local dairy owned by the Johnson family, Alan and Blaine Johnson and father Everett. Yeah, the AJR Alan Johnson crew chief for the Kalitta gang. -
