Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hello! So i decided on some diagonal bars for the roof. Now it is a waiting game to hear from the SCTA as to how I am doing.

Figure it will work well with the door poppers.
I put power release in my old ramcharger. Used steel brake line to guide cable to where solenoid would fit. Worked slick. Universal power trunk solenoid. Also used one as a throttle kicker when i put “Command Start” in my power wagon.
The first remote starter originated in winnipeg, developed from a stanley garage door opener.

Got one panel mocked up for the Stude. Even tried some bead rolling on it. Pretty easy to make mistakes. Something i need to practice. Next ones need more finesse im afraid.

Looking good Eric and you need to paint the car red to match your air cleaner.
Sorry, I do not like red cars. I had 2 brandy wine colored cars so this will be different. Haven't decided on a paint scheme yet. The the motor and air cleaner is just for mock up.

Always liked the dark colors on the Charger and two tone is a good idea.
Now the only issue is not being a paint and body guy..at all...not even a little. Maybe a roller with some leveler in the paint to help

Would enjoy helping you out and you need a lot of work to get the body looking good. not saying you did anything wrong on your fab. just saying restoring anything takes a lot of work.

Thanks Fred. I never had intent to make it nice. Just build it mechanically and be able to enjoy it. Purposefully leaving it a little rough around the edges so it can be fun. Like a leftover racecar left behind a shop look.

I agree drive it more than look at it. Hate to see it get a scratch or a dent but not the end of the world if it does.

Well did some work on the Valiant. Cut my finger tip. Nothing big. Damn blood thinners you would
think I severed an Artery.
Stuff a cork in it and wrap it with duck tape is my recommendation. That will be $500 bucks and lots cheaper than going to the hospital.
