Stop in for a cup of coffee

Now you guys have me a thinking I should go get a flat or two of eggs and freeze them. Yes out of the shell of course. Done this during the great Covid lockdown.

It's not the price as much as availability. There are already supply issues in many places. The thing that concerns me is the lack of fertilized eggs to continue raising more chickens. The meat prices will skyrocket along with supply issues and you know as well as I do that those prices never come back down to what they were when the bird flu is over. I'm sure they are working on that.

Almost worth the ride up to grab a few myself.

Fan motor done (8 minutes)
Chopped and welded coil towers and got left coil, shock and A-arm in. That was a fight after spring compressor slipped.
Guess its burgers on the Blackstone tonight. Kim seasoned the grille on the weekend, so today is the first time cooking on it. Smash Burgers.

I got quite a bit done on clearing the old homestead. First pix is before, then the after pix. I fought, chopped, cut and pulled every root to get down to the pad. Plus rigging anll the old mill equipment for extraction. About six inches of top soil complete with gnarly roots in every crack. Went as far as I could and then my shoulder said I was done. Plus I had to cut a road to get in there with tractor. All honking day and that was all I could get done! I see a hunting shack in my future!

SoCal egg prices (Grade AA large eggs per dozen):
$8.99 Local supermarket
$8.75 Aldi
$8.24 Sam's Club for 24-count carton = $4.12/doz. - Store was out of eggs when I was there over the weekend)

How about some extra extra crispy original recipe for you

This is the left overs of the chickens and the barn manure after being ran thru the incinerator.

All this a mile and a quarter from me.

So, i just dropped my truck off to get the oil cooler rebuilt or replaced. More bills...dammit

I have two 101s I love them as well. I got a beer says you are long armed. They tend to fit long armed folks better. I sold a multi tubed 101 many years ago, I still have sellers remorse. The Citori I am looking at is just a field grade, but at that price I can easily flip it with some patience. I gotta buy some more Sublime paint don’t ya know!
Nope. Just normal length arms. Gun fit me great. I ran it 50 straight in skeet one day. Cracked on the 3rd round and missed two. I was still happy with 73/75.

I was home before midnight last night and ready for bed. But at midnight the skies erupted over Saigon with many fireworks. Sounded like a war zone again from the past. Here's a video I took. They were lighting fireworks off right in the middle of the street everywhere, pretty crazy

The fireworks lasted for about an hour last night. Then I began to hear the ambulances running around picking up people who tried to blow themselves up. I anticipated that before the fireworks were over. LOL
