Mid 50's and a chance of a sprinkle or two today. May be it will wash some of the salt brine off the streets. :thumbsup:

Just below freezing again. Then back down tomorrow.
Still hope to have wheels back under Mustang before sunday.
Sad news about the crash.

I go out each day chip and shovel the ice off the driveway and patio. We have rain tonight so that should help with the melt. Cheryl has been in KC with her mom since Sunday. She had a mild heart attack and spent a few days in the hospital. She's back home and not much they can do for her she's 89 years old and on her glide path out. Home health care starts Monday which will give Cheryl a needed break. She has spent weeks at a time there in the last six months, but it is what it is. Have a great day!!

Its a rough time for family, we were fortunate to have mom so close we could be with her when she passed.
 

Well today is a big day at our house, our Boy is checking out at Battalion today with full retirement ceremonies in Ft Knox next Friday. He has been in retirement transition mode so he had to shave his beard off today. He was not happy! Hah! He has already found a great job and is doing well in transition. Kind of! Hah! He and his wife will ride out the rest of her enlistment in Ohio. She is a E8 and will retire in two years I think? Regardless our boy is jacked today and we are all happy for him.

Congrats to him!! Remind him to get a full copy of his medical file never know if he might want to file a VA claim someday.

He is all over that! I don’t remember how many jumps he has but it was way to many for his body. He got his jump master rating several years ago. He is right around 90% disabled on paper. Like me he is looking at a new shoulder in the very near future.
