Back home from shopping and post office.
That Distibutor to mail it to Frank cost as much as the dam Distibutor, 65 bucks to mail it.
No way, Frank and I will meet up this summer and I'll give it to him then. Will be nice to see Frank.

Shipping prices are outrageous... :icon_fU:

Good Morning All! Got through the night with one power blip, made me reset clocks and coffee maker was a manual start, I'll take it. Computer deciding it wanted to do a backup now wasn't fun but here I am finally, lucky you lol!

My internet has been down since last night...

Gale was with me when I bought my duster in 1974 .View attachment 1716360538 Also on this day 19 years ago I retired from Ford motor company , 36 years of service .Never regretted it . Oh I am taking her out for Chinese food later . Have a great day all .

Do you still have the Duster?

I told my ex- wife when I married her, "The cars were here before you... You will go before them"... I kept that promise...

Seriously, congrats on staying married all those years, it's not easy...

ARC-51 UHF Aircraft Transceiver

How do you know???

I just got reservations for MITP. I didn't think there were any rooms available last week but no problem now. Check in Friday and out on Sunday morning. I got a 2 queen bed room so there is room for someone else to stay. Half price or less for both of us. Last year 3 of us stayed and divided the room between us. It made for a reasonable trip. @lkopaska, @Frodee
BYOB and ear plugs for the snoring. LOL
Hey Mike I'll take a spot in the room. PM me how much if the extra spot is available. I'll send you some money. Ho! and I'll take the floor because I'm use to it.

So, which is the lesser of the two evils???? Maybe we should start a poll???

Two boll weevils grew up in the deep south.

One went to Hollywood and became a famous actor.

The other stayed behind in the cotton fields and never amounted to much.

The second one became known as the lesser of two weevils.

Off to my sister's house for coffee. The cable guy is coming over and she feels better if someone else is there. Don't blame her. It's a crazy world out there now days. Then over to Andy and Emily's new place. Andy got his water softener in so we will be installing it. Hope all goes smoothly there. It will be PEC tubing. Something new for me. I'm and old sweat solder, copper tube guy myself.

Larry the Cable Guy is coming to your sisters???

Git-R-Dun...

Hello FABO! We havnt posted in a while and have been busy maneuvering our work/ life balance, always a positive! Really nothing too spectacular to write home about, but we have made some progress. Today my oldest got a chance to try her hand at reassembling the rear drums with me (with Derek to keep us company in the background/ Roadworthy rescues) she did well and experienced her first “plague” of anti seize in that it ends up EVERYWHERE… Not bad at all for a soon to be 12 year old…. hopefully we’ll start soon onto some of the front end!

I’m happy to see @krazykuda is back at writing up his very helpful guides, we have been following along for when our engine assembly time comes up. A tremendous thanks to @66fs for sharing some of his “treasure chest” items with us and for all of the patience and direction with keeping our build on course! @toolmanmike @Dana67Dart @RustyRatRod @RAT ROD AL and everyone in the FABO who has always made time for us and the mysteries that we’ve encountered as we continue to build!

We hope that you’re all well and happy wrenching!

Good to hear from you Kyle. Sounds like you have some good people helping you. Tell Rat rod Al hi for me and when you're ready to do the body work and paint I'll be here to help as much as I can.
