I can notice it here when the base picks up training/operations, flight schedules etc. It MUST be a whole nuther thing when it happens at THAT base lol!

I think they just added that sound suppression system within the last year or so. South Vandenberg launches have always been very audible from here. North base complexes do the smaller launch vehicles and they're loud, but not Falcon loud. When they shoot the ICBMs at Kwajalane those are loud! The rocket exhaust points right at us directly after launch.

PS .. Those Minuteman silos are only 9-10 miles from here.

Blown calls see them every game check the stats helping penalties this year the Chiefs are 16th in the NFL. Fans whose teams are losers hate winners. The Chiefs have been in five of the last six Super Bowls and it was by no accident. They are a small market team so it's no real value for the NFL. TV, or anyone else to keep them in the winner's circle. They are just a good team with a great quarterback and coach. The others just need to get better. Win or lose next week they played well again this year. The spread has been reported all week and still shows 1.5 for the Chiefs.

We are looking forward to a great Super Bowl Sunday with John and Jodi and our local best friends Jeff and Val!! You have to realize this day, a chance to see history with a possible three-peat got to realize it's history just for a team to do three Super Bowls in a row. Heck they might never go back again (doubt it) but we as fans just need to live the moment and enjoy the game and party hardy...GO CHIEFS!!
