I don't have any of the above except an antenna. I have been considering a Roko box, but I would still have to pay for certain channels, right?

They scrambled all of their channels here so I cannot bootleg free basic anymore... I bought an antenna now, $20 and get a decent range of channels... No monthly charge...

I hear you, we do have Dish, cable not available but when we had it at our last place it was going up all the time, and not by $2 either

Or they delete channels and don't reduce the charge since you are getting less...

As far as I know ROKU is all free. We have my MIL switched to that in NJ and she gets all local news channels and everything else she watches and we can get rid of her over $200 cable bill a month. We are just making sure she is happy with it before canceling cable. So far so good, said she wants to ditch cable and that bill...........

I will have to look into ROKU...
