We’re having a bright sunny day
Hay Pete!! Great to hear you all had a good sunny day, its been pretty around here until this afternoon, we have 5 to 8 inches that is about to start falling here .... looks like now, 3 pm, but not seeing anything yet.
Seems we have bright sunny days and you all get cloudy and snow filld days, but it was a good year last year there, and possibly another good year this year.
I will get pictures

Same here and will warm up in a couple days.
Same here, but it doesn't get here till Monday! Back to 46 degrees, lowes this week is 4 degrees at night with wind.. not good for this area, but I built for it like I lived in Michigan  .

Street rods and customs are a whole different kind of people. Buy good people with some different ways of looking at things.

OK Fred....see the seam just above the door handle that runs the length of the truck? How do you treat the rust in the seam?

Thanks for the good thoughts all y’all, I got her. We are both safe. Let it not be said chivalry is dead. Downside we had to abandon the car (Scat Pak) at a liquor store at bottom of a pretty serious hill. But she is safe and car for the most part undamaged. I tried in vain to get her to take one of the 4wd trucks to the airport last week but she loves driving that Challenger. Translated I had the opportunity to say I told ya so but I chose to cook her dinner instead! She feels bad enough without me rubbing it in. She had to swallow some serious pride calling me to come fetch her and could not make it home! Thanks for the call @memike and @ZMan67S this thread is family for sure! All good in Arkansas I am back to being the kitchen wench I am!

Glad you're both safely home. Sucks leaving the car anywhere... Hopefully not too far from the house... You got back pretty quickly

Hey Tike been back reading and I like your old Dodge truck. My son in law has 2 around that year with the wide block 318, but grain trucks so I think 2 ton or better with a tilt bed. I should go look at them and maybe make a car hauler out of one.
Are you talking about the "68"? I have a D300 as well with a 12' flat dump bed. And a 68 100 short bed. I am stealing parts for the one you see. I put the cab on an 86 frame. It fit right on but I have to get the front of the cab up so I can get the front fenders to bolt up. That is what I want to put the tilt front end on. ANd with that frame the 440 fit right in. Eazy Peazy so far

Just leave those ugly wheel covers on and nobody will notice any rust
They would be the first to go

Kitchen Wench !   You mest up like I did and let her see you can cook up a meal years ago.... Hay, glad all is ok, you are the last person on my list to worry when Snow is a foot deep on the roads, all us country boys are ready for most anything @Sublime one

It's snowing here now, have to look where it's dark to see it, you know me !! Always in the light

Some one asked what the guy was asking last year and he offered it to me for $5500, so I figure I have $1500 to play with in a deal
