Stop in for a cup of coffee

I almost hit the lottery here yesterday. Had three tickets worth 400,000 each. Total for three tickets winning would have been about 50 bucks USD... I have hit for a million Dong a few times already. Still fun to play.

Good morning everyone. Spent all day Saturday helping my buddy work on his lakester. The one we took to Bonneville last year. Several changes made. Switch to EFI, in a custom made intake, 8 EGT thermocouple to keep an eye on things, lower the transmission, and lowered the rear axle so as to keep ride height once he switches to a shorter tire. Yesterday I worked on the Charger. Decided on trying to make a modern stock car/ Daytona nose. I am allowed to run a spoiler straight down from the leading edge. This incorporates it in the design.

Worked on my sons truck the last 2 days and we decided not to pull the cab off just yet.
I think I got Covid a couple weeks into not doing well and not eating much because food taste like cardboard.
I haven't been sick in many years but the last few weeks I find myself not wanting to eat anything. Had 1 pancake for breakfast this morning and not interested in dinner. I'll get better soon I'm sure, I just think best if I go to bed early and not eat my cooking for a bit.

Get well soon...

Maybe go to the doc to get some meds to help....

Speaking of horses our meth head neighbors horses got into our pasture again today. I spent more than enough time overseas to appreciate good horsemeat!

One of the local radio stations had a word of the day where they tell you the word and you have to text it in and they pick a winner... One day the word of the day was "horse"...

So I texted "horse" to enter... Then made a second text and entered "whores"... (they sound similar... And you all know my mind is in the gutter...)

After that, I noticed the station would also spell the word when they gave it out... (He, he, he...)

Hell no. But the bottom will be smooth and flat. Trying to decide if it’ll be easier to buy premade fiber glass sheets for that.

Make sure not to breathe any fiberglass dust when you work on it... It can irritate your lungs real bad and do irreversible damage... Wear a respirator...

If you develop the little hackey cough go see the doctor. I ignored mine for a few days and ended up in the hospital with a bad case od double pneumonia. Don't mess around with it almost took me out.

Good Monday morning!! Cheryl and I had a great weekend took a couple indoor projects of the to do list and played a little golf. Today, I have PT this morning then a doctor's appointment in Kansas City. While we're in town we'll stop in and see the MIL. I also need to go by the BBQ place and pick up a BBQ spice to mail out to Wolfie.
I bought a baseball card last evening a 1957 Topps Brooklyn Dodgers team card. It was a very difficult card to find in quality condition. First, it's 67 years old, second, kids got a team card and played with them everyone held them, wrote on them, etc... This one is near mint couldn't be much better. This card was on an eBay bid and the main competition I was bidding against had 9k past purchases. I checked through the day when he'd make a bid so had a good idea based on experience where it was headed. I have a bid strategy, and it has rarely failed me. The other bidder never knew I was there until the end and then it was too late, took the card.
Have a great day!!

Morning!
-5 heading to 3 above.
Warm enough to turn off pellet stove overnight. Will head to shop and light it.
Then grab welding gas bottle and head to the parts store this morning. Have a coffee and and a visit and order a couple parts.
Conversion u-joint, as i think i have engine close enough to use Mustang driveshaft. Lincoln Transmission mount is no good, will order that as well. Been slacking on the videos due to interuptions.

Oh man, hope you get over it quick.
Can’t be covid if you didnt test for it.
Personally i wouldnt pull cab to rewire, maybe lift the box.
That's the plan on the truck but he just bought it and decided to drive it for a year then rip it apart and repaint it.
