That sucks you had a cam go bad.

Still a lot of wire to deal with. Working on it-slowly. That silly module powers everything. Sensors, injectors. Have to make sure i dont miss anything.

Well, it's not like I was surprised, my son and I raced it hard, red lined him out at 5.500 , but I have seen 6.000 in it plenty of times even on the street in my old gray truck. Then stored for over 18 years, a first fire up I pre lubed it but I believe a lifter stuck and put a bend in one push rod or it happened back in our day driving/racing it, if I recall, Creed took it and a couple friends to race it and stuck two 8 inch wide slicks on it and ran a 7.40 1/8, fastest pass, he has the sheet on it, but the chassis (as you may remember) flexed and drove a shock plate almost out, and the steering box bolts (two of them) was ripped halfway threw the frame.. 3.55 sure grip.. so yes, the cam held up just took the crown off some lopes, will find out how much very soon

Found it, only one I have, and yes, I built that hood from a 72 roadrunner hood that had a miss hap..

We call that, A Yard Sale.
That is the same line the announcing tower uses at Bonneville and El Mirage when someone experiences "unexpected self disassembly" of components, usually engine related. "Looks like we are going on course hold, having a yard sale"...

Bunch of music junkies on this thread. It always amazes me how many similarities there is amongst our members. Cars, women, music, guns, dogs, (cats for Rusty) food, It is the glue that binds us, politics/religion does not even enter it!

I like all animals. It's just lately Im with Rob. More partial to Pussys.
