I just pulled a mean trick on Dallas (my dog) He is always excited and active and so I usually just let him out for a morning run. I close the door but don't latch it so the heat stays in. He does his thing and then comes and pushes it open and comes in for breakfast. With the wind I actually had to latch it. This morning I hear this loud thump....I didn't realize that he hits it at full speed! He slowly came in and went to his kennel. I feel bad but it was funny. he laid there for a short while before he came out to eat.
