Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well just got home from a very long day. Working with local PD and SROs (school resource officer, basically a LEO assigned to the school) on a school district that has multiple buildings/schools (6) basically they hire us to assess their safety and security protocols. Lots of interviews with teachers and staff. Everything from apps on their phones to cheat sheets by the phones for emergencies. My brain is mush. Right down to popping open med kits looking at expiration dates on Narcan vs what inventory spread sheet in nurses office has listed. Our educators today do way more than just teach.
Hey John, did you and Jody make it through the storm?

Your items are all out for delivery.

Morning all nothing much going on here helping Cheryl with all the running around involving her mom's estate. Fortunately, it was all done with a trust so that helped a lot. We're heading up to KC today lawyers, accountants, etc... Saturday Back to KC hitting a baseball card show for a few hours, then that afternoon we have free tickets and a parking pass to the Royals game. Cheryl was nominated and selected as the Veteran of the Game for the Royals game. It's an afternoon game playing Baltimore, wind chill will be in the upper 30's oh joy!! Have a great day!!

Good morning all.
Hoping everyone is safe after all that bad weather. My son and his family lives in the lower section of Missouri and still waiting for him to let me know how he's doing.

Finally ended around 0230 for us last night. 90 percent of town out of power, mostly from straight line winds. Closest rope got at least 3 miles away.
Worst may be over, but just watching Al Roker... Shows the center of this thing just sitting on Arkansas with heavy storms and EF2s at least through tomorrow. Not really clear how much, but they now have rain in our forecast through the weekend.
