Stop in for a cup of coffee

This table is a frickin mess but I just unpacked my parts, took the brisket off the smoker, made some AuJus and poured myself a toddy. Is it 5:00 yet. Oh my, this Rye is heavenly. There is only about a 1/3 left. Seelbach's still has more but it's $90 and I may have more car parts to buy. :BangHead: :BangHead:

The HP engines used a double roller I think. Or at least steel gears. Get a good roller set. Don't use a tensioner. (like I did)

Ya, so no morning chat. Oh well.
“so what are you doing today?”
Nothing, and i have just started.

So, the couch is where i’m at. Wife isnt impressed.
I did go out for brekkie and afterwards went and did my civic duty.
We missed you today Frank. No You tube vid? I haven't been there much today either.

Evening fellers and fellet. Cold and snowing here today. Put a roast in the crock pot, been cooking all day and the dogs have been hanging out in the kitchen.

K.. engine is apart other than oil galley plugs.. in the back one is square and one is hex.. never knew that.. Not sure how i will get the dipstick tube out yet... hopefully powerwash it this weekend...

Damn cam bearings look great.. the ones in my 318 are... "Scary"

'85... the only X's are on the main cap bolts :)
Just a foundry mark. Means nothing.

The reason I ask is there were some mid 70s Small blocks with big Xs cast in them. They were heavy duty 4 bolt cross main blocks for nascar use. A few have slipped out over the years. Buddy of mine has one down in WV. Complete from Bobby Isaac’s team never ran
