Stop in for a cup of coffee

Here is the final product and mods to fix the MC mess I had to deal with........................................

Moving forward, I do not want to deal with the same MC issue. I ordered the relo bracket from Mancini and a different MC. With the new setup, modifications still needed to be done to clear everything.

-The studs to mount the MC had to be pressed out, and the holes tapped to receive new 1/2 bolts.
-The passenger side bolt hole needed to be cut out so I could rotate the MC onto the bolt, then tighten it up.
-Shave down the front of the hole to gain more clearance.
-Shave the bolt head itself down to gain more clearance.

The result is:
-The relo bracket can bolt up to the firewall
-Install valve cover.
-passenger side screw is already installed in the relo bracket and then backed out to accept the master to pivot onto the bolt.
-Install driver-side bolt.

Nice Work Scott.....

No I'm done working through the summer. I been working in the garage all day trying to make the canopy on the old truck roll up and down like a semi grain trailer tarp. It's been kicking my *** trying to make it work.
Good to hear Fred. You can enjoy and take care of your own stuff.

 To make Opening Night for the speedway even more dramatic a good possibility of rain overnight. Add to that a Winter Weather Warning. The snow level is @ 5000' and that could make travel for racers from the San Joaquin Valley a little challenging .

Yeah, Got to my house at 8am. Drank a few Beers and went to sleep for 4 hours. No Sleepy on Airplane ever. Now backreading and plowing through piles of mail. Food soon and an all night nap in my future....
Welcome home, fire your sled up and go for a putt! Glad you made it home without any drama.
