All the same. Short story is, I had to remove MC to take off the valve cover to check and adjust my valve lash.................Hemi problems in an A-body engine bay.Was it the same type of brake system as on your car?
There's two flavors of bendix action that mopar used later 60s - 70s but there are other designs of drum brake systems out there.
Not a lot, I replaced them all last year with all new parts, and they were working well. Even though all new wheel cylinders, as you guys have said, even brand new, can go bad these days.............
That car would look good in a potatoe sack. Dress her any way you want and she is still killer!I like the look with the black rear wheels and slots on the front. I am going to run this for a while. I also got the slots mounted to new tires and can throw them back on as well.

I bought new ones for my Ragtop and 2 rebuild kits. I put the new ones on and leisurely rebuilt the originals and packed them in the boxes the new came in for spares. Small hone for cleaning the cylinders and the rest was easy peasey.BTW.. if you are even questioning the wheel cyl, just get a new one they are like $20 still.. not worth even messing with
yup.. easy to rebuild.. i'm just lazyI bought new ones for my Ragtop and 2 rebuild kits. I put the new ones on and leisurely rebuilt the originals and packed them in the boxes the new came in for spares. Small hone for cleaning the cylinders and the rest was easy peasey.
Agree. Also no one trues the drums and matches the shoes anymore.I haven't gotten any bad new parts but people do.... and most people that have issues with drum brakes usually don't know how to adjust them properly or put the shoes on the wrong side and ****... i love drums.
i read the wings didn't even make the playoffs? WTF..... and yzerman saying yup... wouldn't let me do what needed to be done and here we are... pretty much.Leafs have once again choked in an elimination game. Had their foot on the neck but could not finish, again. Arghh.
This is getting old. @fatoldguy
i haven't seen one in like 25 years... even stores here don't turn anything anymore. If I pull the trigger on the brake lath mt BIL has, it also has the shoe arching machine.
NAPA here said that their partner shop shut down a few years backi haven't seen one in like 25 years... even stores here don't turn anything anymore.
Don'tGood Morning All! Recorded the rest of that Leafs game, will have to watch it
