Stop in for a cup of coffee

Mine isn't a weight thing.. i stay 175-185... i just lost 10# in 2 weeks so i'm back to 175.. losing weight is easy :) I just lost a taste for beef at some point.. plus good pork steaks are like $4 each and taste better to me.. all win/win
Yeah , I agree, Pork is cheaper, but I do get tired of it. I buy 1.5 lb pork loins at the Grocery Store and bake em in the oven. Usually feeds me at least three times....

I get the marinated loins. I'll get 2 meals out of one.

I really look for the 3 inch thick, Premium Reserve chops for the grill though.

Beef, I'll do a t-bone or NY Strip once a week

We call those Iowa Chops here (in Iowa of course) 1 1/2" thick boneless seasoned with Mango seasoning, smoked to medium rare (135° or so) and then seared on a hot grill.

On my parent’s estate, the house was put in a ladybird deed in all three of us kids’ names. We all went through and identified major items we wanted and if several of us wanted it, the negotiations started! My sister was the executor and she kept the peace between my brother and I-more so his doing than mine. All in all, it was relatively pain free but did take about a year and a half total to get through everything and then sell the house. Absolutely nothing was probated because we all agreed to be as peaceful as possible

My sister and i are like that. when my dad died i took all his junk since he was a welder/junk guy... when my mom died my sister took it all.. easy peasy... What is the most surprising about dealing with someone dying is seeing what greed will do to people you thought you knew... just amazing how things can turn

@Icetech thats where I figured my brother would go. My sister has been very successful in life and I’ve done ok myself. My brother always seemed to struggle a bit. He ended up with a lot of physical things, like my dad’s woodworking stuff but I didn’t have a use or room for that anyways. I haven’t spoken with him in almost 3 years ( again, his choice) but have heard his garage is so full of stuff that he can’t even move around in there!! LOL!

sorry to hear about the bickering that goes on when parents die. my sister and I had no problems with the house or money. the one that almost got a sock was the BIL when he suggested about me paying rent on the family house. THAT was cleared up quickly- we both told him "NO"!

When my mother in law's mom died she got a frantic call from her dad. Apparently two of her sisters ransacked there home and took family heirlooms and her jewelry and things while he sat there screaming at them to get out of his house. WTF?

yeah.. it's unreal.. you really get to see who people are at that point. When my dad died i had guys i know he didn't talk to for 20 years get their hands out trying to get ****... nope.. you had a lifetime to get your **** straight... piss off.

While my gramma was alive, she told everyone if they wanted something of hers to put their name on it or ad it to the list. When she passed everyone took what they reserved. Pretty civil.

Yep. We’re in the middle of an estate fight right now. Over a forged will. Sad part is, all we wanted was copies of old family pics and a couple of sentimental items. Nope, the ***** wont.

BAH! this was the show i skipped sunday.. it was soo cold and windy.. i wish i had went.. next year. swap meet too

I’ve itemized my will. Having it looked over by a lawyer. I have put a clause that if anyone wishes to contest, argue or otherwise act in a manner that demonstrates greed, they must put up a cash only bond equal to the 100 percent appraised value of the estate at the time of passing. I’m also setting a court appointed executor. No family will be making or control decisions.

Quick question,

What kind of phycopath cuts a bunch like this? No, they came this way. I am sure whomever did this has tortured kittens and other animals...
