That's a good looking Teen. The install will go fine. Just take your time.

They dont beat them they toss them!
Too bad dies cost so much. Stamping them out and pressing them into shape sounds simple but costly. May be need a CNC Plasma or Water Jet to cut out the blanks. Fashion a die that can press them into shape with a hydraulic press.

Dies are big bucks, trust me found that out making the springs.
I checked on that for 66 Dart headlight bezels. Between the left and right, the pressing dies and the trim dies, about $40,000. Yikes. That's how the Chinese get all that business. They are good at copying stuff for cheap.

Another guy and myself are seriously thinking about buying a stamping press for. DP tags. To get them right a few years have a raised PRESTOLITE on them that die alone is $400. There are 4 tag styles also. Only repop available now is engraved.

Like fender tags with the raised stamping. Reverse dies from the backside.

Not to sidetrack but here's my new Cardiology doctor.
She's a cute little unit and pretty pleasant to look at. I might go in for check up's more often.

Wow, small dies to get those part numbers so close together. Like typesetting an old printing press.

Them little dragsters might be fun to watch. We encountered them at Famoso once. Big drawback, they were not visible from the lower seats in the bleachers. All you could see was the top of the rollcage due to the safety barriers :BangHead:  Kids line up, try to find a seat higher up and hope the ice chests you left in your previous spots were not raided by the neighboring spectators

Morning, Movers and shakers. Clear skies but cool out here. Oatmeal and coffee for me this morning then back to the shop for more packing fun.
