Be safe out thereAfternoon, just got to Cortez for the final walk through before closing. We got 2 more inches of rain and hail, just pea size but about 4 inches deep on the road this morning.

Looks perfect from here. And it's even a couple states away.Well.. took that apart for nothing.. on the upside only took a hour.. will take a full day to put back together

yeah.. i was going to put it dot to dot.. but i am pretty sure now that i degree'd it correctly. My next step after putting this back together and praying it doesn't leak.. is to smoke the intake and check for leaks.. i'm almost wondering if i have a vacuum leak into the valley or between ports.. i had to do some bad stuff to get it to fit due to edelbrock sucking balls... "Made in the USA" bs... grrr.. will never not be mad bout it.Looks perfect from here. And it's even a couple states away.
I did that. I think it was supposed to be a 64'th. Cam plate oil hole for timing chain? My timing chain is pretty dry... none of the small blocks i have taken apart have an oil slinger, just the drip guide thing.. might try to drill a hole in one of the cam plate bolts
ahh there's good info in that thread.. might do the cam plug instead so it sprays the chainI did that. I think it was supposed to be a 64'th. Cam plate oil hole for timing chain?

Dunno if you saw the post Hoppy but the timing is fine.. it's +4 so.. gonna leave it. even if it were 4 off it wouldn't cause the timing issue. Going to make a homemade smoke machine to check the intake for leaks tomorrowThose cups look good!
What did I ask again?
