Stop in for a cup of coffee

I started a thread on B bodies about adding a 7503 Weiand intake to a Poly. Good thing I asked. Not recommended unless it is a hot rodded engine.
Less low rpm performance and torque below 3500 rpm comparted to the stock 2 barrel. I'll be rebuilding my carb and selling the 2 intakes I have.
I found a kit at Mikes Carburetor Parts. (that's a good luck charm there) It says "Ethanol ready" which is good. $25.95+

Well, let's pull the trigger here. Oh, and they take Pay Pal. One click ordering.

Done! Only $5 shipping as well.

I dragged everything out to get it set up for blasting the k-frame. Those of you might remember last year the gun came off the end of the hose and sprayed me pretty good. I didn't like the way the hose was dry rotted so I bought a new hose and clamped the new gun on the end of it. Even bought new blast tips for it. Thought maybe there was a little left in the tank of the old material which was crushed slag. I got some 4070 glass from the guy that stripped the Cuda to use this time. So my dumbass hooks up the air to it just to check and see if there's anything left in the tank without any protective gear on. Sure enough, the gun popped off the end and sprayed me in the face. But I was quick enough to turn. My face did burn for a little while though and got red. Lol .Guess I better get the safety gear on when I get started again here in a few minutes ...

Cutting it a little close… I had it down to 1mi before. Really don’t want to find out if it has reserve below 0mi

This is the best I got. Overalls, a Vietnamese mask, face shield and gloves. Working out okay though. Got 3/4 of this Cuda k-frame done on one bag of glass. Try to get the rest of it done tonight before I go up..

Got the Downing yard mowed. (our rental that our kids live in rent free. LMAO) I walked the front and side yard and rode the back 2. 300 foot deep lot and I pushed it once and bought a rider. It takes a little over an hour. I picked a handful of asparagus and watered the 2 seedless grapes I planted this spring. I went in the house and measured the rooms for base trim that we put new floors in. We bought some nice used bedroom furniture but the center support (California King) needs a little repair where it attaches to the footboard. A simple foot should do the trick.

Got that cover for the shifter thingy almost ready to make a mold off of it. Dry time takes forever. I think I'll be able to have one hot off the press by Friday.

Done blasting for the day. Just a little touch up needed where you can see it without all the "gear" on. Smoking a short stogie in the shop for a min., and head to the Shower....Before Supper.....

That's cool. A simple part that people have been asking for. It should be fairly easy to make, it's covered with carpet so it doesn't have to be baby butt smooth like your spoilers, and it is small and easy to package and cheap to ship. .

Looks good Mitch, sand/glass blasting takes time to get it done to our expectations, last time I sand blaster it was a cool 75 low humidity day, 68 percent, that's low for use here, the strait to the paint booth..I was wore out, took two days to get back on my feet, my neck 5 days or more, glad that's done I bet

Wow, carb kit boxed and tracking number already. I just ordered it around 1:00
Good service, glad it's moving and on its way.
About intakes, I have to say thay the dual plain China knock off Air Gap is working great with the smaller cam shaft, engine is running cleaner then it ever has, and it feels nice to have MUCH more power at 1.500 threw to 4500, as far as I take it.
I feel like she is ready for a trip north, after double checking all my new wheel bearing and old u-joints.
