Good to hear he's running again.View attachment 1716422117
This is @TomMoparMan 's car.
Ran 8.61 in the quarter this spring and a best 159.5 mph. Itching to make it 160! Tom's heart stopped last summer and he was brought back to life in the staging lanes by a crew of angels. After some surgery and a lot of rehab, he's back in the office going fast.

Yes he is. The phrase "Molasses tomorrow will bring forth cognac" was a coded message used by the BBC to the French Resistance during World War II. It served as a signal that a specific operation, likely involving the delivery of supplies or personnel, was about to take place. This message was part of a larger series of coded messages designed to coordinate resistance efforts against the German occupation. The phrase itself was not a literal prediction of molasses turning into cognac, but rather a pre-arranged signal with a specific meaning understood by the resistance.Willy some times you are just too high level intelligent for the rest of us motorheads.![]()
Kids ride round here on gas mini bikes, electric bikes no traffic training, just do whatever they want. If I was to try a Harley motored golf kart on the streets, I'd wind up in a state prison
Speaking of scooters, I still wouldn't mind one of these. A rat rod one would be real fun. I see some fellas put V twins in them. About 5X the original horsepower.Kids ride round here on gas mini bikes, electric bikes no traffic training, just do whatever they want. Worked a lot with long range HF comms and continuous broadcasts... so learned about the early work of OSE many moons ago. The Movie is cool how they showed that. The phrase "Jean has a long moustache" was a coded message used by Radio Londres (Radio London) during World War II to signal the French Resistance. It was broadcast as a personal message within a larger radio program, indicating that a specific resistance operation was about to commence. The message was dramatized in the film "The Longest Day".

I think that lil HF Greyhound that I built for my dirt racing go kart could do thatSpeaking of scooters, I still wouldn't mind one of these. A rat rod one would be real fun. I see some fellas put V twins in them. About 5X the original horsepower.

Including Viet Nam. People often ask me how I can handle the heat here in D.C. My body is acclimated to the heat and humidity of S.E. Asia...All those HEAT warning on the East Coast for 100° and that's just a pleasant Summer day in numerous other statesView attachment 1716422115
