Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wow, sorry folks. I have been like a fart in a skillet this morning, posting things from opposite ends of the spectrum, one right after another. It's even hard for me to follow.

:BangHead: :BangHead:

Here we go again.

You’re gonna have to get way more obsolete than those! You got a whole thread of geezer rockers!
Yet the tune is still playing in my head. (well, rattling around in the empty space any way)

So I'm out in the shop this morning. Getting ready to do a valve cover gasket job on a Toyota. I got to thinking about the dashboard for the Cuda. I don't remember seeing the riveted on VIN anywhere. The guy bought the car from said a guy was trying to help him do something with the dash and fiberglassed it. On these e-body cars the VIN is behind the glass is riveted to the padded dashboard. I called him today the original owner of the car. He said he doesn't remember getting it. The VIN plate that is, and he thinks the guy fiberglassed over it because he thought the guy was a half witt anyhow. So I tore off the corner of the dash where the VIN should be and it's not there. And according to my guy he never got it. So I guess it's lost. I did find a website that will make a new VIN plate for these cars. Guess I will go that route. FFS !!!!!! :mob:  :BangHead::mad::soapbox::wtf:

The colorful 4th of July Explosives displays are all over town in any parking lot with enough space. I think they are allowed to open for 10 days. Good fund raising tactics for many groups. The 4th is always dicey here when it comes to airborne fireworks being visible :realcrazy: .
