Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning and a happy 4th to ya all.
Try not to blow yourselves up today and remember nothing bigger than an M80 will be shot in the bus while driving.

I have a good story....a few years ago a friend with his wife and kids were at a party at my house. We had a camp fire and cooked some dogs, anyhow Dan kept throwing firecrackers in the camp fire when people weren't looking. Others were getting pissed. SO as he walked by I threw a M80 from 20 feet. Now I never was a good basketball player nor could I pitch a baseball acurtly...BUT it went right in the fire. When it went off It blew sparks and ash everywhere. His wife flipped out and really left him know he was being an a$$ in front of everyone. It was funny and to this day no one but me (and now you readers) know what took place.

And I bet Dan was scratching his head saying :wtf:

While cleaning the garage yesterday, I got tired of walking around this rally rim and my various chains laying on the floor. Problem solved!

Ok I have a question and I hope it is not political. With the Big beautiful bill passed and no tax because I am a Senior Citizen. Is that just on my SS or does that also mean not on my Pension and investment income?
Just SS I think no federal tax on it but you might still have to pay state tax

Great story! Years ago we used to party and camp in the woods. Someone put a partially full 40 ounce glass beer bottle with the cap on it in the roaring fire. Didn’t think much about it until the pressure got high enough and the bottle exploded!!! Thankfully no one got hurt but damn, that was an explosion!!!!

Burning brush in the winter, we used to fill various bottles an jars with JET B aviation fuel. Vodka bottle with metal cap was the most impressive, shot flames about 50 feet straight up.
Pickle jar just blew and made a giant black smoke ring.

I am trying not to be bringing stuff home. Trying. Heck I loaded up a bunch of wheels and there is a set of Aluminum slots that I think I should keep. I have to see a Therapist for this desire to have "stuff"
Conversation last night, ford 15” trim rings with the 2 red stripes. I may have a set i squirreled away 20 years ago. I be happy to see them gone, if i can find them.

Morning!
Long backread.
Was roasted nuts hot yesterday. Honda also needed a rear caliper, no locsl stock, had to wait for afternoon shipment.
Son working on that 59 chevy, dual wheel cyls in the rear. One of them leaks, nos. Knock it apart, cups pliable, bore looks perfect. Fills the boots like there was no u-cups in there at all. 4 times we pulled it and investigated. Tried the oem cup spreader and spring from an old wheel cylinder. Frustrating when its 100 degrees outside.
Im doing my best to remain chill no matter how pissed my son gets, as im not willing to get into an argument over something we have no control of.

Rained last night, humidity is going to make it unpleasant today.
