Stop in for a cup of coffee

Off to put another coat of clear on the footboard project. Last coat I hope. Then, hop on the rider and get the grass cut. I need to stop at the recycling bins and get rid of cardboard but I bet they will be full because of the long weekend.
Bring it to Philadelphia. Sanitation works have been on strike almost a week. So you can imagine.

Funny story. A friend of mine In Orlando called the other day to tell me. That one of my propertys in Philadelphia is on fox news.
A U tube idiot. I think Go's around the city taking pictures. I think he Go's by Philly Joe.
So the other day he posted how dirty the streets are now that the trash pickup has stopped.
Best part is the property he posted has Zero trash. go look whats around it Residencial you will see plenty.
I have a local there I pay to keep the sidewalk clean.

Holy Smokes...How many properties do you have? I would rent or buy one off of you if I wasn't afraid to go there.

The sun is winning so I had to come in for a moment to cool off
Me too. I got a call from Andy, he wanted to use the chain saw so I drove back home. I sweat through my t shirt already and I didn't do any physical labor yet. LOL

Frickin gas chain saws. I finally got it started, let it run for a few min, and now Andy can't get it running. POS!

Thats why i went electric. Anything i want to cut arounde here my saw will handle. And i wear out before the saw.

Put PT in shop, stripping it of useable parts, power window regulators, rear wiper motor, door switches and stuff. All things i can use on future projects.
Just about ready to fill it with scrap.

Had to repair a step off of the deck at the big house. The Overweight woman tenant stepped on it and broke it and actually fell down according to her. Wish I could have seen it. Lol. It ain't that hot out here. Only took me about an hour to disassemble it and reassemble it with some new wood.

I spent about fifteen minutes pulling the cord on my MS250. Said f it and got out the little electric guy. He'll do just fine.

Think I'll take the Stihl to the shop and let them mess with it. Damn thing is just a couple years old and only used a half dozen times..

The 250s are notoriously hard to start due to the high compression vs weight ratio. They cut like banshees once running. A lot of folks “de tune” them a bit and they start quite easily. I am not sure what exactly that means but we have a chainsaw wizard at our local ace hardware and he did mine for twenty bucks. At that point I was waiting on a new shoulder and was about to put a match to the saw. I think they reduce the compression maybe? Anyway mine still cuts great but I can actually start it vs wanting to throw it in the pond.

What do yall run it on? I bought the cheapest POS Poulan WalMart had about ten years ago. All I've ever used in it was TruFuel. It sits sometimes over a year and never fails to start. I leave it with gas in it.

I have a 25 yr old Poulan 16”and always starts 3-4 pulls. Also a 20” in Craftsman but getting heavier every yr

I have a 40 yr old Homelite Super 16 XL farm saw. I put a 20 bar on it 20 yrs ago. Sits for years at a time and still starts right up........

I had a hard time starting it at first because I didn't prime it. I wonder if Andy primed it and it didn't need to be and flooded it. He said he didn't even get it to pop though. I use the good premixed gas and It fired up with 2 or 3 pulls a couple months ago.

I have an old Homelite trim saw that I can barely pull the starter cord. It needs a compression release.
