New Brakes on the Durango, tire rotation and oil change. Not bad for 2 hours of work. Never had a brake job go that smoothly. Kind of makes me nervous wondering when that boomerang comes back
No. If that happened, there would be nothing to find. This was fully 'processed'. looked like the lot behind a cow barn on a rainy day. She only has 'accidents' when she has digestion problems. This is second time this week. I stepped in the first one,As in chewing up the Tri Tips meant for the grill this afternoon?![]()

How ya been guy?Had a good soaker here -started around 10PM. Steady rain for at least a couple hours with full light show and thunder boomers.
Good Morning
Morning Peace was seriously disrupted when I walked out to make coffee. Dog did horrible things on kitchen floor. As I am cleaning that up, wife says "I think she needs to go out" Lets just say my response was not very pleasant.

When you scan it with OBDII tool, it will probably show you a "stored" code....'modern' car question- (Mitch, Frank)... Wifemobile '09 Journey has an engine light on. But self diagnostic shows no code. First happened last week when she parked on a hill. Pretty sure it had low oil on start. No code then either, but light cleared by taking neg cable off. But now light came back on and still no code. Going to put my OBDII buddys reader on it later today. But as far as I know it should always display a code on self diagnostic if the light is on. Runs great. ??
Good. Just working too much. How ya been guy?
Do most of them show that? His is a pretty basic reader from what I know. He did say it can clear codes. I've actually never used one cause my recent vehicles have always given me the codes. When you scan it with OBDII tool, it will probably show you a "stored" code....
Yes. Even the 50 dollar basic one I have shows stored codes. But won’t clear them. My 150 dollar one will clear them.Do most of them show that? His is a pretty basic reader from what I know. MIL?Should also be able to view MIL status and manually reset the light if clearing the code doesn’t. At least mine does.
Malfunction Indicator Light.... Same as Check Engine Light......MIL?

It’s the official name for the check engine lightMIL?
Mother in LawMIL?
Here’s a tip: Use electrical tape to “fix” the CEL, and duct tape to “fix” the MIL.Mother in Law
"Do you hear that noise?"
"Why is it vibrating"
"You know that there's a light on"
"Why don't you just have someone fix it"

Yeh, if I get through either working on car or plumbing without a serious hiccup, I'm just waiting for some unprecedented shitshow to ensue.
They need a whiskey tasting concession up there....Epic view from a women's clothing store. The locals probably don't enjoy the view.
