Stop in for a cup of coffee

Damn, the TRW Performance catalog I bought off E bay is not available. Just got a message from the seller. :mob: :mob:

Yeah...

Starts fine. Still having shift point and adjusting issues weird the transmission.

I'll mess with it this weekend
Define shift point and adjusting issues. One big thing with pushbuttons when it comes to shift points, fluid pressure. More so than even with later 904s/727s.
I went with a lokar kick down cable. Easy as it gets to adjust also.
Do NOT ever , EVER put an adjustable kick down on a pushbutton. It’s extremely difficult if not impossible to get it adjusted right. For some reason, the push buttons are very finicky about the kick down. Find a stock one.
But I think he says it doesn't shift right?
If the debris is clogging the filter enough to lower fluid pressure, it can and will cause shift issues. It’s a cheap check since he’s already got the pan dropped. Change the filter and top her off.

If you can find it, my pushbutton worked better with Type F fluid. Not sure if that’s because I put the red clutches in.

Really need to define the not shifting right. Is it not shifting right in Drive, or is it not shifting right when manually pushing thru the box?

If it’s doing it in Drive, it’s likely problem is the pressure issue.

If it’s doing it when manually shifting it but working fine in drive, it’s likely in the adjustment of the cables. Very small window to get right. And really takes two people to do it. Stupid design if you ask me.

If it’s doing it all the time, it’s probably a wornout rooster comb

Good Morning All! Summer Sizzler Mopar car show here in town today, I'd better get into my email and see when I'm supposed to check in

George was an old drag racer from the start. When he passed away our Facebook group leader got all his old photos.
Here's a sketch from Bob Hall who designed the strip. Bob was the father of my good friend Jerry who I went to school with. Bob was one of my instructors in Tech School.

I don't know what it is or isn't doing. You need to talk to Chris "Willy"

Great track, I found this from a few years back, thought you might like it. I think this is from the infamous year @ZMan67S and I crashed the track! Hah!

How do I find this old stuff you ask?
That's a nice stash. Do you sort out the Mopar parts and sell off the rest?

That doesn't matter. I was just saying he is not here to hear the advice. And I didn't know what was going on. I thought your advice was sound but it doesn't help unless he hears it and I don't know if he back reads
Hope he does. I assume that when something is quoted the person will see it and backread even if they normally don't. To me thats the main advantage of typing over talking. (Also I can correct my mistakes LOL)

I just got around 25 black slant caps in that are Mopar Knockoffs but think Prestolite made them so they are the same. Heavy duty also.

Morning!
Yesterday was rip out a 5x5 window in my shop. Going to change it to a 3x4-1/2 winow. Frame rotten, mice got into the wall and ate some insulation. I hate vinyl siding, so its gone too. Hope rain holds off.
