I love that tony says knurling a piston makes it have less drag.... wtf... sooo.... why doesn't ever race motor use it then?

I was taught that knurling a piston takes up like .001-.002 or so.. and will get a old motor back up and running for a bit..

when i do my 408 i'm gonna see if powell thinks i should regrind my current howards or go new... Really want to get a Jones cam though...

yeah.. i didnt' know bout jones cams til recently, one of my customers raced a low 8 BB ford and was going through springs and valvetrain parts non stop.. had jones spec and grind him a cam, ended up like 100# less spring pressure and went a full season without any issues while gaining a 10th....

The crowd at the show averages around 10,000 people so might not see you there but I'll spot that beard at the track
