Good morning c\_/. Back when I was recovering from brain trauma, music was a large part of therapy. No TV. No phone. Sit and listen to the radio hours on end. That became a exercise. How many songs can you remember or hear while listening containing the word _______ in lyrics? Since my doc despised smoking, the 1st word suggested was cigarette. 6 or 8 total. Sun, sunshine, sundown, sunlight. Rain,rainfall. Some words were grouped, like colors rather than blue alone. Surroundings i.e. door, window, floor, wall(s), ceiling, were grouped. Mother, father, mom mama, dad, sister, brother,. Friend included boyfriend, girlfriend, and so on. Anyway, from early on I was retained a song waiting for another of the other 3 players to possibly recall it. Eventually I was retaining a song containing 6 of the words we had went over. It was in fact Mama Told Me Not To Come. If you placed my avatar beside my Harman Karmin speaker you would have an image of how I spent many hours of each day for about 3 months. I made it back thanks to a great doctor and wife. Cheers
