Here is my parking spot, enjoyed a BBQ sandwich and drink in the shade.
Today I check lug nuts, drive line , air pressure, fluids (no drips so it's full) timming and carb setting and kick down . Tomorrow I go get my very first time slip at George Rays Wildcat Dragstrip..

Looks like good home for one of them HF Hot Rod Predator motors :steering:

Today’s project… fixing the death wobble in my Jeep. Tired of throwing parts in it every 6 months.. so broke the wallet and upgraded to the nice 1.5 ton steering upgrade and track bar… rated for 54 inch tall tires and fixes the geometry issues.

This dang track bar weighs nearly 40 pounds vs the 12 pounds of the factory and most aftermarket bars… it’s made from forged steel and is solid, not a tube. And not cheap…

Jesse worked for Kenny Kier Race Cars for 4 years, Kier is well known , a Race Car Chassis builder. Mostly Drag Cars. Jesse has very good Fab and Welding skills. When I restored that 68 Road Runner, he Tig welded the quarterpanels and small patches using silicon bronze rod....
Silicon bronze is the cats Jammie’s for thin carbon steel that may or may not be in great condition or have enough trash in it that makes it unweldable. I keep a handful of 1/16 on hand at all times. It is great on black iron! It will jump on anything.
