It's Sebring Saturday!

Good morning :D
How about Super Bee Saturday? Mopar Joe has the opportunity to buy one like this today. It is just a shell but he has enough pieces to make a roller. Got to love the Y1 Top Banana and it has a factory Gator Grain top and black Hockey Stripe.

One of my HS best bud's Dad had a Hemi Roadrunner, sleeper of the century it was. That same yellow, black vinyl top, black steelies with dog dishes, no stripes, bench seat, column shift 747, very mellow twice pipes. Just 2 giveaways, the little fake scoops in the hood that had HEMI on them and that ominous Dana 60 under the trunk  . He was a wise man though, he traded it in for a more door slanty Dart just before we got our driver's licenses

Probably a good idea. I got to drive a 68 Hemi Road Runner back when I was 16 or 17. It was a 4 speed car which was even more fun. Flat foot it and slide your foot off the clutch, hold on tight and grab second gear real quick. What an animal. What a rush!

Went for a bite to eat last evening at a restaurant on lake. 7:00 PM People at beach swimming and some boats pulling tubes. Mostly unheard of this time of yr in MN
This weather is bonkers, Pete. When we left Zimmerman yesterday afternoon it was 81*, and by the time we got to Brainerd/Baxter it was 88*. That’s just crazy talk!

And it’s supposed to hit 90* down here today…..

Heading back home soon, as the well has had enough time to “sit and soak” (chlorine). Going to stop at my buddies place in St. Cloud and check out a new truck he just had hauled-in from Eugene, OR. ‘94 F150, low miles, original paint, and looks pretty good in pictures.

Have a good one, and stay cool!

Things be funny.

From 2004-2022, highschool football powerhouses were in our area, 4/5 schools were ranked top in the state and produced 6 state championship titles.

Then the Hall of Fame highschool coach retired in 2022 from one of them, the others, the coaches are the same still. Now, only 1 of the high schools even have a winning record and they’re 4-3. The others all haven’t won a single game this year.

Should stop in and say hi, darn near passing by our place

That was the across town school for me. Always the conference champs and state tourney every year. Our team lucky to win 1 or 2 per year  .

Next time we’re up here I/we will, certainly!

Sadly, this time is a No Can Do as I have about 6 hours of flushing our well, hot water heater, and all of the plumbing in our place when we get home. Earliest I can start is noon, which means we MAY have things cleaned-up by dinner time…

Edit: If you see this driving south down 371 in the next hour be sure to wave!

Not my taste but boy are they passionate about their cars. Probably more than some of us Mopar guys.

Sharp looking cars. A tough choice between that and the '68 Road Runners.

In the past those cruises the cars would have a visible pink cup with them, place to make donations. Last night I didn't see any pink cups :( Those eligible when signing up would get a "Survivor" flag for the car. Saw some of those.

Love that era of cars (too). Had a 69 Road Runner, 69 Coronets and a 69 Bee. Now I want them all back. LOL

(Mike, hands off the keyboard and take 3 steps back and no one will get hurt) :BangHead: :BangHead:

Good idea. We are nearing the end of cruise season. Enjoy it while you can.
Talked me into it. Went on a 90 mile cruise to a cheese factory. Old school where it is made 3ft in front of you and no walls. Warm fresh cheese curds are the best. Squeak when you bite them. Mmmmm. Been a while.

Sounds like a good time.

Perfect.

I thinking I need to start eating more. I've lost 4lb in the last 2 days. I'm down almost 50lb since Carlisle.
I'm now at 147Lb
