Boy I did something that is not me. Of course waiting on Market place people was a little crazy. Then the woman picked me up to go to dinner. 45 minute drive to Altoona all I hear is bitching and if I made a comment I got snapped at...get to the restaraunt and we walk in and she says 2 and as the matra Dee fumbled around he looked up and took the two people behind us...like WTH...so I wait and this lady comes in and passes everyone to put her name on the list and by this time there are 2 other couples behind me, Sara had sat down by now and the guy says are you two together and I said no....he takes her info and then takes the next couple...I am like WTH....He looks at me and says we need to prepare a table so it will be a minute. He leaves and comes back picks up the menus AND TAKES THE NEXT COUPLE!!! So I have to say something that we have been passed up 3 times now what is going on. And then he hands me a menu to "view while I wait". By this time I was pissed. I threw it back at him and said I want a table not a menu! And a few other choice words. I still get pissed just telling the story.

Not sure where you went but a lot of places now run “call ahead seating” via apps. You put your name on the list for a table before you even get to a restaurant. You get front loaded ahead of the walk ins.

We do this where we can now. As with a family of 6, it suck’s waiting for an hour for a table. Course, I’ve seen it piss a lot of folks off when we get seated right away.

Not sure that’s what happened in your case, but just tossing it out there.

US Civil War.

We strip picked the garden yesterday and turned a portion of it into pico. Yummy but the late season maters did not have much flavor. Hopefully a quiet day today.

No we were all walk ins because when we gave our name we stepped aside for others to put their name in.
