Pumphouse is good now. A little finishing next year.

I made a bucket trap, empty brake cleaner can,for the peanut butter, coat hanger wire through center and a stick for them to climb up. In the quonset during winter they freeze in the bucket. I think more humane than drowning.

I never thought he was that good and when he announces he trys to get you to think that he was one of the best. Always an arm chair quarterback.

Well, good and bad news for me, good news first Jim's wife called 20 minutes ago and said there doughter and son inlaw decided to hang out the the ranch house, no need for me to head there at 5am, they will do chores (sounds good to me, money is good ) Now the bad news, Wife got 3 shots two days ago, covid, shingles and something else, she is sick. Up chucking, diarrhea, and chills... it just kicked in 30 minutes ago, mask and gloves on keeping he contherable and hydrated, I wish it was me, hate seeing her this way.. no scoore yet on the game..

So I need some opinions and guidance. I had a guy a really good friend has used for light electrical work come over and fix the wiring on the switches in the spare bathroom and install a new GFCI receptacle. He went to Lowes and bought all the parts. Two switches, and the GCFI and a couple of wall plates. Ends up, since he's installing a better style switch, he needs a gang box. This is a mobile home mind you and the switches don't have gang boxes because they are all enclosed on the back and no metal is exposed. So the code says no box is required. No problem. I wanted conventional switches that required boxes anyway. He didn't realize that and didn't get any boxes. He had one with him. The type with the little wings that attaches to the sheetrock. No problem. So he gets done presents the bill. It's 117 and change. No complaints. I was happy. He said he'd come back later and install the fan switch and bring another box at that time. I paid for two switches, two wall plates and a GFCI. He also didn't charge me any extra and even left the Lowes receipt. Now here's my question. His service charge for coming out was 90 bucks. The rest was parts. Very reasonable I thought, right? He's an older guy retired and does all kinda handyman stuff. Well I asked him when he left if when he came back out if there was another service charge. He says yes. ....and honestly that's not a huge deal, BUT, he took the second switch with him. I paid for it. There's only THREE wires to hook it up and I know I couldda done it. I mean 90 bucks is a lotta groceries for us. Should I be upset he kinda forced my hand by taking "my" switch?

Well, myself I am thinking he could have finished up Rob, he gets a service call to evaluate, he has done that, this next service is and in my mind should be just a fallow up to compete said job, he knows what had to be done but he didn't stay and finish it, I couldn't charge for another service call when I should have completed it the first time he was there.. but, thats just me

Well, he only had one gang box and he didn't charge me for that. But it's a plastic one and they are super cheap. That's why he didn't finish. That was the only gang box he had and he needed another for the fan switch. I still don't think he should have taken the other switch, especially since I paid for it.
